Here’s my advice on how to get back on track in real estate.

If you’re a newer agent, today I want to show you how to refocus. There are some specific questions that can help you get back on track quickly.

“Your business needs to suit you and your strengths.”

For starters, be sure you’re putting the ladder on the right wall, so to speak. I see a lot of new agents who get in the business and kind of hate life. Maybe it’s because they’re working with buyers and they’d rather be working with sellers, or maybe they’re working a lot of open houses and would rather find business in other ways. Your business needs to be set up in a way that suits you and suits your strengths.

There aren’t a lot of listings around, so the buyer leads are kind of low-hanging fruit. If you want to switch things up, you need a different line in the water. Here are a few questions to get you back in sync with where you want your life and business to be:

  1. What do I want life to look like?
  2. What do I need to do to get there?
  3. What could get in the way?
  4. How will I overcome this?

If you have questions about this topic or anything else related to the real estate business, don’t hesitate to reach out via phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
